Bobcat Baseball’s Saunders Chosen for Ohio Valley All-Star Game

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Georgia College catcher Jay Saunders (Moultrie, Georgia) has been chosen to represent the Madisonville Miners in the 2018 Ohio Valley Collegiate Summer League All-Star game.  

Saunders has been active for the Miners this summer, playing in 14 games with a .255 batting average, a home run, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. The All-Star Game will be held at Colonel Field in Hopkinsville, Kentucky July 1.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
