WENHAM, Mass. – The Georgia College women's cross country team took second place among 18 teams at the 42nd Annual Pop Crowell Invitational Saturday at Gordon College (Mass.).
The Bobcats finished with 46 points, 11 behind winner the University of New England, and ahead of the Emmanuel College Saints, who posted 113.
Lena White (Smyrna, Ga.) came in just one tick off the lead, finishing the course in 20:17 for second place in the 177-runner field, behind only UNE's Brittney Sorbello.
Rachel Pasko (Jefferson, Ga.) finished in 20:34 taking fifth place and leading a trio of Bobcats. Taylor Roeck (Cumming, Ga.) was sixth, less than a second behind Pasko, while Bekah Houston (Dalton, Ga.) took seventh in 20:37.
Elyse Renshaw (Snellville, Ga.) rounded out the Bobcat finishers in 26th, posting a time of 21:57.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Oct. 4 at the USC Aiken Invitational in Aiken, S.C.
