GC Women’s Cross Country Picked Eighth in PBC Preseason Poll
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced the women's cross country preseason poll Tuesday, with Georgia College taking the eighth slot.
The Bobcats picked up two fourth place votes and a pair of fifth place votes among their 60 points, finishing just two points behind No. 7-ranked Young Harris College and three out of the tie for fifth between Flagler College and Georgia Regents University Augusta.
Columbus State University finished first in the coach-voted poll, while defending PBC Champion Clayton State University took the second slot.
The Bobcats get their season started at the Remembrance Run, hosted by Georgia Southwestern State University, the site for the 2013 PBC Championship.
