MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Senior Caroline Rentz (Columbus, Ga.) of the Georgia College & State University women's cross country team was recently honored with a selection to participate in the Leadership Certificate Program (LCP) at GCSU.
LCP encourages student leadership development through workshops, discussion forums, retreats, service projects, conferences, presentations, and special for-credit leadership courses. Members are nominated by a Georgia College faculty or staff member and receive a certificate for participation and a medallion to wear at graduation.
Rentz has run in two of the team's three meets this season, putting in a personal-best at 21:51 at the Berry Invitational and also racing at the Mercer RunFit Sports Invitational.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Southern Challenge in Marietta, Ga.
