Georgia College Athletics to Name First Volleyball Coach in Press Conference Wednesday
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Athletics Department and Director of Athletics Wendell Staton will name the head coach of brand-new Bobcat Volleyball program in a press conference Wednesday, May 2 at 2 p.m. in the Centennial Center.
After an introductory statement, the new coach will also be available for individual interviews with media members.
Slated to be a member of the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference (PBC) much like the other 10 varsity sports offered at Georgia College, Bobcat volleyball will begin competition in the fall of 2013.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 10 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
