INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA released its latest round of Division II Volleyball Regional Rankings Wednesday, with Georgia College (14-11, 6-6 PBC) taking the No. 6 slot in the Southeast Region.
The No. 6 rank is a one-slot drop from the squad's previous rank.
The Bobcats are the fourth Peach Belt Conference (PBC) school on the list, topped by USC Aiken at No. 2. Augusta University is third, with Lander University coming in fifth. The top spot is owned once again by Wingate University of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC).
The NCAA poll is used to determine the eight at-large bids for the NCAA Southeast Regional starting Nov. 15. The winners of the three championship tournaments in the PBC, SAC, and Conference Carolinas receive automatic bids. The remaining five spots are determined by the final version of this poll.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m., taking on Flagler College in the opening round of the PBC Tournament in Greenwood, South Carolina.
