MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia College's Thunder Crew student spirit group will host a "Stand Up To Hunger!" night at tonight's volleyball match.
Those in attendance are encouraged to bring at least one canned food item to the game and those who donate money or canned food items will be eligible to win an assortment of prizes in a raffle held during the match. The cost for five raffle tickets is one canned good, the cost of an arm's length of tickets is a $5 donation and the cost of an arm span of tickets is $10. Donations will be accepted throughout the night.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to churches in the Milledgeville area that help to feed the hungry.
The start time for the Bobcats' match on Wednesday is at 7 p.m. at the Centennial Center against GRU Augusta (7-24, 1-16 PBC).
