FLORENCE, S.C. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) held its year-end awards banquet Thursday night at Francis Marion University, with No. 31 Georgia College Women's Tennis juniors Jena Kelly (Lawrenceville, Georgia) and Emma Niemi (Cumming, Georgia) taking All-PBC Second Team in doubles.

The All-PBC honor is the first for both Bobcats, the most recent doubles honorees for Bobcat Women's Tennis being Kayla Barksdale and Katie Krupp in 2013. Niemi and Kelly are 11-9 this season, including an 8-4 PBC mark.

All-time, Bobcat Women's Tennis has had 16 All-PBC doubles honorees.

GC Women's Tennis is back in action Friday, April 21 at 9 a.m., the No. 7-seed Bobcats beginning the 2017 PBC Tournament against No. 2-seed Armstrong State University.
