SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its most region rankings last week, with Georgia College Women's Tennis taking the fifth slot in the Southeast Region.

The Bobcats are among seven Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams ranked in the poll. The top four are Armstrong Atlantic State University, Columbus State University, Flagler College and Francis Marion University. Lander University comes in one behind the Bobcats in sixth and USC Aiken ranks ninth in the ten-team poll.

Freshman first singles player Macy Polk (Powder Springs, Ga.) moved up once again in the singles regional poll, taking the No. 9 slot. Polk is 15-7 on the season, including 11-4 in PBC action.

The Bobcats are now hoping for one of the five at-large bids to the Southeast Regional, slotted for May 3-6.
