MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women's tennis team kicks off their spring season Tuesday, Feb. 4 at Fort Valley State University. The Bobcats will start off this season ranked No. 34 in the nation, improving four spots from last year.
Krupp went 18-10 in doubles and 16-8 in singles play a year ago. She was awarded All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) honors in doubles as well as being named a PBC Bronze Scholar. Marevic played in all 22 matches last season and finished with a record of 8-14. She had the best doubles record on the team at 17-5. She was named a PBC Silver Scholar. Murray will return to add depth to the ranks, she acquired three singles wins and eight doubles victories last year.
Freshmen sisters Macy Polk and Cristalei Polk (Powder Springs, Ga.) ended the fall season with a pair of singles titles at the GC Women's Fall Championships. In the Southeast Region, Maci Polk is slotted in the No. 10 position for singles and is accompanied by Marevic at No. 19.
