ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 18 Georgia College women's tennis team (8-8) kicked off their spring break trip in Orlando, Fla. taking on Luther College (10-5). The Bobcats came away with the dominant 7-2 victory.
Johnson blanked White-Baer, winning 6-0, 6-0. Playing in the No. 5 slot, Lingner followed with another quick win, taking down Whiteley 6-1, 6-0.
Krupp clinched the team win for the Bobcats as she defeated Lindstrom in the No. 4 slot 6-2, 6-2. Barksdale pushed the score to 6-2 with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Helms. Marevic played in the No. 1 slot and took down Allen, the top ranked Norse, 6-2, 6-1.
Murray was close in both sets, but fell to Adriana DePaolis 6-4, 7-5.
The Bobcats return to the court for another neutral site match Monday, March 25 when they take on University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez.
