MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior Ashlee Graham (Decatur) was undeniably a hero for the Georgia College Women's Soccer team, making her the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 4.
Graham posted two shutouts in the three rounds of the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament this week. She made 19 total saves in 20 chances for the week. In the opening round, the Bobcats upset No. 2 seed Lander University when Graham came up big by stopping three of the five Bearcat shots in the penalty kick shootout. She then allowed just a single goal in the 2-1 win over Young Harris College and capped the week with an 11-save effort against National No. 3 Columbus State University in the title match, falling in penalty kicks.
Graham was selected to the PBC All-Tournament Team for her stellar performance, as she kept her team in the tournament to secure their second PBC Runner-Up trophy in program history.
