Graham Saves Eight But Pembroke Ends Winning Streak, 1-0

PEMBROKE, N.C. - Ashlee Graham (Decatur, Georgia) saved eight shots, but a 28th minute penalty for UNC Pembroke (4-3-0, 2-1-0 PBC)  pushed the Braves past the Georgia College Soccer Team (3-4-0, 2-2-0 PBC) as the team's two-game-winning streak came to a close with a 1-0 close Thursday night in Pembroke.

The Bobcats were held scoreless for the first time in three games, despite three shots apiece from Amanda Bartholomew (Peachtree City, Georgia) and Becca Morris (Marietta, Georgia).

Graham's nine saves give her eight or more saves in all but one match this year. The junior tied her career best with 11 saves Sept. 8 against Queens University.

Three different Bobcats placed a shot on target, including Morris, Unnbjorg Omarsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) and Cassie Balzano (Douglasville).

The Bobcats continue their tour of North Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. when they travel to Catawba College.
