MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. –Junior Amanda Bartholomew (Peachtree City) of the Georgia College Women's Soccer team earned Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week ending Sept. 24.
Bartholomew helped Women's Soccer to a 2-0 record last week, finding the back of the net twice and also getting an assist. Bartholomew headed in the go-ahead goal against USC Aiken and later added an insurance score in the second half against the Pacers en route to a 3-1 victory for the Bobcats. The forward also grabbed an assist on the opening goal of an eventual 2-1 victory at Clayton State University. Bartholomew now has six goals and an assist on the season.
The Bobcats are back in action Thursday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. at UNC Pembroke.
