MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Three Georgia College soccer players volunteered to read to a group of eager first graders at Blandy Hills Elementary School on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Junior goalkeeper Taylor Cornelius (Dacula, Ga.), sophomore forward Jordan Harman (Suwanee, Ga.) and freshman defender Emily Wilhelm (Suwanee, Ga.) made a visit to Ms. Black's first-grade class to read "Froggy Plays Soccer."

"The children were very interactive and asked us a lot of questions about soccer!" said Cornelius. "It was a lot of fun and a good experience for all of us."

The GC soccer team just recently concluded their 2013 season with a runner-up finish at the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
