MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s soccer program and head coach Hope Clark are set to host their annual “Think Pink” Game Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. against Armstrong at Bobcat Field.
Along with taking donations and selling pink T-shirts, the Bobcats will also hold a silent auction for the special pink game day jerseys the players wear for the contest. All proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in the name of Athletic Department Administrative Assistant Patti Weimer, who is battling stage one breast cancer.
The Bobcats will hope to surpass the over $650 raised during last year’s “Think Pink” event. The auction web site is available at www.gcbobcats.com/thinkpink . Bidding will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and will finish 30 minutes after the end of the game.
Those interested can either place bids at the concession stand during the game Wednesday, or by sending a text to (478) 202-4239 with your bid amount and last name.
