MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College soccer program and head coach Hope Clark are excited to partner with Zaxby’s on North Columbia Street for a “meet the team” dinner Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.
“We are really excited for this opportunity to get in touch with the community,” said Clark. “It’s a great chance for our program to get information out about the upcoming season and to increase community support and involvement.”
The night will feature giveaways, autographs, “Thunder” the Bobcat mascot and information on Thunder’s Junior Bobcat Club. Kids eat for free with the purchase of an adult meal, so come enjoy a complimentary kid’s dinner while spending some time with members of the 2011 GC soccer team.
The ‘Cats begin their home schedule with the Bobcat Shootout, Sept. 9 and 11. GC will face off against Wingate University Friday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and then Tusculum College Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1:30 p.m.
