GC Soccer #8 in NSCAA Regional Rankings

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - After
five consecutive victories, the Georgia College soccer team (7-3,
4-0 PBC) has moved up two spots in the NSCAA Southeast Regional
Poll to No. 8.
The Bobcats are on a roll as they have won five-straight,
including four Peach Belt Conference (PBC) victories, and taking
down nationally-ranked opponents.
GC upset No. 8 Armstrong Atlantic State University 2-1 this
past week and also defeated Clayton State University 4-1.
The ‘Cats are one of five Peach Belt teams in the
regional rankings. AASU is No. 1 and Columbus State University is
listed No. 2. North Georgia and UNC Pembroke are fourth and fifth,
Bobcat soccer squares off with No. 25 North Georgia this
evening on the road at 5 p.m. Georgia College returns home
Saturday, Oct. 16 against Flagler College in the final home game of
the regular season for “Senior Day”.
