Bobcat Soccer Joins “Cat Crew” on Move-In Day
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Bobcat soccer was pleased to help incoming freshman move in to their new dorms at Georgia College & State University. Aug. 12 was a hot and humid day but the soccer squad overcame the heat to help freshman adjust to their new college lifestyle. The event was a rewarding experience as the team worked together to welcome new Bobcat fans to campus.
“This was a good opportunity as a team to get out into the school community,” said graduate assistant Mary Byrne. “It was nice to help incoming freshman and to inform them about our upcoming season. I am very proud of our lady efforts in spite of the fact they were in the middle of preseason practice twice-a-day. Not one of our Bobcats complained about the heat or lifting heavy items.”
The Bobcats open the home schedule Friday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. against Anderson University.
