Former Graduate Assistant Coach Hired at Thomas University

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Chris Davidovicz, former graduate assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Georgia College & State University has been hired as the assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach at Thomas University. At Thomas, he will also be working as the recruiting coordinator for the Lady Night Hawks.

“Chris Davidovicz is definitely a go-getter,” said associate athletic director Jimmy Wilson. “Chris is going to be successful wherever he goes because he is going to work his tail off to accomplish his goals. He was a hard working graduate assistant while he was here and we wish him the best of luck at Thomas University.”

Davidovicz helped steer the soccer program at Georgia College to its first ever National Ranking and National Tournament appearance in 2008 as well as back-to-back NSCAA Team Academic and Team Ethics Awards.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., Davidovicz got his degree in business finance from Virginia Tech in 2003, and also lettered as a goalkeeper for the Hokies in 2002.

Davidovicz is currently working on his master’s degree in human performance at Georgia College.
