Taylor Named First Bobcat Athlete of the Week for 2010-11
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Freshman Katie Taylor (Sharpsburg, Ga.) of the Georgia College & State University soccer team (0-2) was named the first Bobcat Athlete of the Week for 2010-11, the sports information office announced Tuesday.
Taylor netted the team’s lone goal of their two games, putting the Bobcats ahead of Florida Southern College Friday with just 2:45 left before halftime. Georgia College eventually lost 2-1.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m., hosting Anderson University in day one of the Second Annual Bobcat Shootout.
