MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Junior Ally Treat (Fayetteville, Ga.) of the Georgia College & State University women's soccer team (2-2) was selected Georgia College Athlete of the Week as announced today (Sept. 8) by the sports information office. The award honors the top performance by a Bobcat athlete for the week ending Sept. 6.
Treat was a powerful force in the midfield this weekend despite the Bobcats losing to both Catawba College 1-0 and Florida Tech 3-0. She also made the Bobcat Shootout All-Tournament team.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Sept. 11, hosting the first Little Feet Invitational Tournament as they take on Lincoln Memorial University (2-1-1) at 8:30 p.m. Lincoln Memorial most recently tied Mount Olive College 1-1 Sept. 6.
