INDIANAPOLIS - Georgia College & State University women's soccer once again is among the elite of the nation in statistics released Oct. 19. The Bobcats are in the top 10 in three different statistics. The Bobcats also are in the top 15 in another.
The Bobcats earned a No. 8 spot in goals-against average (.410). Tied with five other schools, Georgia College has a .643 shutout percentage which ranks ninth. Also in the ninth for the slot for the Bobcats is save percentage at .885.
Georgia College's won-loss-tie percentage of .821 ranks at No. 15 with three other schools across the country.
Sophomore Mary Rob Plunkett ranks in the top 10 in two individual statistics. Her .379 GAA pegs her ninth in the category. Plunkett has a save percentage of .896 placing her sixth on the list.
Wednesday, Oct. 29 the Bobcats return to action to on the road against Peach Belt Conference (PBC) rival North Georgia at 4:30 p.m.
