MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Fresh off win against Peach Belt Conference (PBC) rival, USC-Aiken, the Georgia College & State University women's soccer team is ranked at the No. 8 spot in the NCAA Southeast Regional Poll released Oct. 15. This comes one day after the Bobcats were ranked nationally at No. 21.
Georgia College has been making a name for themselves in the past few weeks. They have been in regional polls and finally made their way into the national poll just days ago. The Bobcats have nine shutouts on the season and are 9-1-3 with a 3-1-1 conference mark which places them third in the Peach Belt. The top six teams make the NCAA Tournament.
The Bobcats look to improve on their impressive streak of being in the polls as they are back in action Sunday Oct. 19 as they go to Harrogate, Tenn. to face Lincoln-Memorial at 1 p.m.
