Bobcat Women’s Basketball Takes Home Opener, 64-62
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (3-2) did what no other team has done this season, handing the University of West Georgia (4-1) its first loss of the 2014-15 campaign Tuesday night. The Bobcats won their first game in the Centennial Center this year, and are now 4-1 in their last five home openers.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball squad (1-2) pounced on Tuskegee University (0-2) Friday in the opening game of the Nighthawk Classic hosted by the University of North Georgia, 91-65. Senior Shanteona Keys (Roswell) now owns NCAA-era scoring record for Georgia College.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (0-1) kicked off its season this afternoon in a battle against Florida Southern College (1-0). It was a back-and-forth battle but the Bobcats could not maintain a lead as they fell 75-67.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Georgia College Women’s Basketball team was ranked No. 2 in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the conference office released Thursday. The Bobcats will be coming back after an 18-11 season in 2013 that included a strong finish in the PBC Tournament.

Bobcat Athletics Puts School-Record 130 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 130 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, a school record. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2013-14 academic year.
