MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Enisha Donley (Loganville, Ga.) of the Georgia College women's basketball team (15-9, 8-9 PBC) earned her third Bobcat Athlete of the Week honor while setting and equaling career-highs last week.
Donley led the Bobcats in scoring last week in all three contests, amassing 70 total points. In the first two games against Clayton State University, she set a career high in points and then proceeded to match it just two days later.
Her first game against Clayton, Donley had a career-game as she set career-highs in points (26) and assists (6), and matched career-highs in rebounds (9) and steals (4).
In her next outing against Clayton, she matched her career-high in points that she had set the previous game with another 26-point performance. She completed the week by leading the team in scoring again, this time against Montevallo with 18 points.
For the week, she averaged 23.3 points-per-game and almost six rebounds-per-game in 99 minutes of play. Donley shot 55 percent from the floor going 26-of-47 and nearly shot 70 percent from the free-throw line hitting 18-of-26.
The Georgia College women's basketball team will be back in action tonight, Feb. 26 against Lander University at 5:30 p.m. at the Centennial Center. It will be the last home game of the 2013-14 season and seniors will be honored at the contest.
