Milledgeville, Ga. – Senior Brandi McKinney (Cincinnati) has been named Georgia College Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks. She continued her solid play from the bench on the road with a double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) Monday in the win over Francis Marion University and with 14 points Saturday in the victory over Georgia Southwestern in helping the Bobcats to an overall 6-0 record.
In addition to her double-double against FMU, she also had four assists, one steal and one block while shooting 7-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. At GSW, she added five assists and two steals.
McKinney ranks in the top-10 in six different PCB leaders. She is first in free-throw percent with 90, tied-second in 3-pointers with 14, sixth in 3-point percentage at 46.7, ninth in points per game at 16.3, and tied-ninth in assists with 20 while helping the Bobcats to their best start since 2006-07.
