Ga. - Georgia College women’s basketball and head
coach Maurice Smith will host the Stair South
Basketball Clinic, a free youth day clinic Saturday, Dec. 29. The
Bobcats will then host Coker College, Tuskegee University and
fellow Peach Belt Conference (PBC) member UNC Pembroke for a
two-day tournament starting Dec. 30, all as part of the Stair South
Inc. Holiday Weekend.
The free youth clinic will start at 10 a.m. and last two hours. Taking place at the Centennial Center, boys are girls ages six to 12 are invited to have fun while learning the fundamentals of basketball from the Bobcat coaches and players.
The Stair South Classic will feature two games on both Sunday Dec. 30 and Monday Dec. 31. The Bobcats will face off against Tuskegee with the Braves taking on Coker Sunday and then The Bobcats will play Coker the following day when UNC Pembroke battles Tuskegee.
