MILLEGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore Shanteona Keys (Roswell, Ga.) of the Georgia College women’s basketball team (2-2) was named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 25.
Keys had a game-high 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and 7-of-9 from the free-throw line against Clark Atlanta University. This scoring outburst tied a career high for the sophomore guard. Keys also added three rebounds, three assists and three steals to her final line.
Keys hopes to lead the Bobcats to back-to-back victories, this time against Anderson University Saturday, Dec. 8 at Anderson University.
