MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Head coach Maurice Smith and the Georgia College women’s basketball hosted the Third Annual Stair South Basketball Clinic over the holiday weekend.
A large number of kids from the community attended the clinic, with various Bobcat players and coaches in charge of different stations, each one focusing on a different skill.
“The Stair South Clinic is a great opportunity to reach out to the youth in the community, “said coach Smith. “It’s a great opportunity for the coaches and players to interact with the youth in a positive way by providing basic basketball instruction along with one-on-one attention. It’s important to us because we look at it as a privilege whenever we can engage our collegiate athletic program with the Milledgeville community and other surrounding areas.”
For more information regarding future clinics, contact GC women’s basketball assistant coach Toby Wagoner at firstname.lastname@example.org or (478) 445-1788.
