MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore Enisha Donley (Loganville, Ga.) of the Georgia College women’s basketball team (4-3, 2-0 PBC) was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 16, the GC sports information office announced Tuesday.
Donley led the Bobcats to start the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) season 2-0 this week, taking down Georgia Southwestern State University and Francis Marion University. The sophomore tallied 17 points with three boards and two assists in the win over the Hurricanes Tuesday, one of two Bobcats in double-figure scoring. Against the Patriots Saturday, Donley put in 18 points with four rebounds and two more assists. She now has double-digit scoring in three of the last four contests.
The Bobcats will be back in action after the holidays when they host the Stair South Classic Dec. 30-31. After UNC Pembroke battles Coker College Dec. 30 at 4 p.m., the Bobcats will host Tuskegee University.
