Former Bobcat Added to Hoops Staff at Gatewood

EATONTON, Ga. – The Gatewood Academy athletic department recently announced the addition of former Georgia College women's basketball standout Dominique Huffin to the basketball coaching staff for the Gators.

Huffin spent four seasons at Georgia College, and was the first Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Freshman of the Year in school history. The one-time All-PBC pick finished her career fourth in school history with 1,280 points.

She will assist Melanie Walls, a former assistant coach at Georgia College who now runs the successful girls' basketball program at Gatewood.
