DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Georgia College women’s basketball student-athlete Shanteona Keys (Roswell, Ga.) has been named to the X-Trem Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team for her valiant effort this past weekend.
Keys averaged 13 points a game over the course of the two-day tournament, adding nine rebounds for good measure.
In Saturday’s showdown with Trevecca Nazarene University, Keys poured in a game-high 19 points on 38 percent (7-of-18) shooting from the floor. She proved to be more effective from downtown, knocking down 5-of-11 attempts.
Joining the lone Bobcat on the All-Tournament Team were: Trevecca Nazarene’s Rachel Raby, the University of North Alabama’s Dana Jackson, Lacy Lewis and Jasmine Horne and North Georgia’s Jaymee Carnes.
Keys and the rest of the Bobcat squad will get back to work Tuesday, Nov. 22 when they travel to Winston-Salem State University to take on the Rams at 5:30 p.m.
