MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball program and head coach Maurice Smith kick the season off Veteran’s Day, Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Centennial Center against Anderson University. All current and past servicemen and servicewomen will get free admission to the contest.
The 2011 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Champion Bobcats will look to begin the defense of their title with a non-conference matchup against the Anderson Trojans. Last year’s matchup was a one-point victory for GC in one of the most exciting games of the year.
