MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team and head coach Maurice Smith are pleased to announce the dates of five basketball camps to be held this upcoming summer.
The first three will be team camps, intended to build unity and camaraderie amongst teammates. Teams will play against one another, giving the Bobcat coaching staff an opportunity to critique the already established relationships those teams have. The first of these three camps will take place June 13-15, followed by the second June 16-18. The final team camp will be held from June 27-29. Team camps will cost $190 per camper and an additional $115 for extra coaches.
The next announced camp is an individual camp that will focus on the direct basketball-related skills of each girl. This camp is set to run from July 6-9, and should provide the most individualized instruction. These individual camps will be $275 for overnight campers and $200 for campers only spending the days.
The final basketball camp will be for the youngsters, ranging from ages 6-10, and will be held July 18-22. The pee-wee camp will be $185 for all campers.
All of the camps will be held at the Centennial Center on the Georgia College campus.
For any questions or to sign up for one of the camps, please contact Patti Weimer at 478-445-6341 for more details.
