Women's Basketball Receives Votes in the National Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – For the sixth-straight week the Georgia College women’s basketball team (8-2, 0-2 PBC) received votes in the USA Today ESPN Division II Top-25 Coaches’ Poll as released on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

The Bobcats just recently dropped their last game against Peach Belt Conference (PBC) foe and No. 5 ranked Clayton State University (14-0, 3-0 PBC), 53-42. The ‘Cats have 5 points in the most recent poll. 

No. 2 Lander University leads the three PBC teams in the top-25. Clayton State University is ranked No. 5, while USC Aiken has a No. 18 ranking. 

The Bobcats are back in action Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m. hosting Georgia Southwestern University.
