GC Women’s Basketball Receiving Votes in National Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, G.A. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (15-6, 7-6 PBC) is receiving votes in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches National Poll for the fourth straight week.
Georgia College received five votes in this week’s poll. The Bobcats went 1-1 on the week defeating Augusta State University at home in a 71-39 drubbing. GC then traveled to No. 15 USC Aiken where they let a late lead disappear, 46-43.
Clayton State University moves into that No. 1 spot at 24-0 after defeating Lander University who slides into back into the No. 2 slot. USC Aiken holds on tight to that No. 15 spot.
The Bobcats play at home Saturday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. against Columbus State University.
