MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball program and head coach Maurice Smith announced the signing of Enisha Donley Monday.
Donley comes to Milledgeville from Loganville High School where she played for head coach John Zorn.
“Enisha is a tremendous athlete who can play multiple positions, adding a lot of versatility to our team,” reveals Smith. “She will also bring a certain level of toughness as she is a strong and physical player. Her energy level is always on high and she never takes plays off.”
A four-year starter, she averaged 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals per contest as a senior, and was chosen All-State after her final season. Also a three-year all-region selection, Donley scored 1,000 points in her career, her team making the state playoffs in each of her final three seasons. They advanced to the Sweet-16 round this past year.
Donley holds the school record for field goal percentage and was a versatile student-athlete, earning Scholar Athlete honors for her efforts in basketball and track. She plans to major in nursing at GC.
The Bobcats finished 22-7 with an 11-6 PBC mark this past season. GC won the PBC Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007.
