Jordan Tabbed PBC Player of the Week

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior Chimere Jordan (Gray, Ga.) of the Georgia College women's basketball team (14-5, 6-5 PBC) was named Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 6, as announced by the conference yesterday. This is her second player of the week award of the season and fourth overall.
Jordan was dominant yet again this week averaging 20 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game, while shooting 50 percent from the field. The senior started with 27 points, connecting on three-of-five threes, with nine boards and six steals in a win over North Georgia. She then netted 13 points and grabbed three rebounds in a loss to No. 2 Clayton State.
Jordan hit all six of her free throws on the week, adding three assists and two blocks. She leads the league in scoring with 20.9 ppg and is eighth in rebounding. She is also ranked in the PBC top-10 in blocks and steals.
The Bobcats are at home against Augusta State University Thursday, Feb. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
