DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Bobcat women's basketball team (5-0) made it five-straight as they defeated St. Augustine's College (4-2) 67-58 Saturday, getting three players in double figures in game three of the 2010 Chick-Fil-A Thanksgiving Classic hosted by North Georgia. Seniors Dominique Huffin (Tucker, Ga.) and Chimere Jordan (Gray, Ga.) along with sophomore Karisma Boykin (Carrollton, Ga.) all scored in double-digits for Georgia College.
Freshman forward Abby Slocumb (Suwanee, Ga.) contributed "crazy eights" of her own, scoring eight and recording eight rebounds, a career-high.
At the end of the first 20 minutes, the Bobcats were ahead of St. Augustine's College (SAC) 39-32 as Jordan hit a shot from downtown right before time expired.
Keyona Bryant and Allison Sikes both recorded double-doubles for the Falcons as Bryant had 25 points and 17 rebounds with Sikes adding 18 points and 11 boards.
