    MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has released the 2016-17 All-America Scholar-Athlete honors and nine members of Georgia College Softball were on the list. To be named an NFCA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the 2016-17 academic year.

The Academic Achievement Awards program recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.

    SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Georgia College Softball team (30-16, 16-6 PBC) picked up its 30th win of the season Tuesday in splitting with Peach Belt Conference (PBC) leader and national No. 17 Armstrong State University (27-10, 17-5 PBC). The Bobcats won game one 4-3 before falling in the second contest 9-3, GC Softball getting its third nationally-ranked win of the month.
