MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. –The No. 15 Georgia College softball team (15-3) was forced to make another schedule change late Saturday evening, as they had one doubleheader cancelled due to weather and added one twinbill.

Inclement Weather Cancels Mid-South Classic
DUNCAN, S.C. – The recent weather sweeping across the country has put a damper on several Bobcat sporting events and you can now add the No. 15 Georgia College softball team (15-3) to that list. The Mid-South Classic scheduled for Feb. 27 and 28 in Duncan has been cancelled.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) poll was released Wednesday, Feb. 25 and the Georgia College softball team (15-3) moved up four spots from last week, coming in at No. 15.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Georgia College sophomore Carly Lewis (Seymour, Tennessee) has been named the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week running Feb 17-23.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – For the second time this season, sophomore pitcher Carly Lewis (Seymour, Tennessee) of the No. 19 Georgia College softball team (15-3) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week, this time for the week ending Feb. 22.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball doubleheader originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Columbus State University has been moved to March 19 due to anticipated weather issues. The twinbill in Columbus is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. now.

Georgia College Softball Takes Two from Nova Southeastern
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Georgia College softball team (15-3) extended its current winning streak to six Saturday, sweeping Nova Southeastern by scores of 4-2 and 2-0. This is the Bobcats’ second winning streak of at least six games this season.

MIAMI, Fla. – The Georgia College softball team (13-3) pulled off the doubleheader sweep over Barry University Friday by scores of 9-1 and 2-1. The effort marked the Bobcats’ fourth sweep of the season.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 130 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, a school record. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2013-14 academic year.
