Georgia College faced Carson-Newman in a doubleheader March 11, 2013 winning the first game 2-1, followed by an 8-7 win. Later that month, the Bobcats beat Brevard in a doubleheader on March 28, 5-2 and 6-2, respectively.

Georgia College followed their Peach Belt Championship (PBC) game loss against Columbus State University with a convincing 10-1 win over Lenoir-Rhyne in its opening game of the NCAA Southeast Regionals on May 10, but lost the rematch the next day, 4-3.

From the time the Bobcats faced Carson-Newman (March) until the loss versus Lenoir-Rhyne (May), the team went an impressive 17-4 during that span.
