Gallucci (Orlando, Fla.) of the Georgia College
softball team (11-9, 1-1 PBC) was awarded the Bobcat Athlete of the
Week after her performance in the week ending Feb. 24.
In the circle, Gallucci appeared in four games, three of which were starts. She compiled two wins in that stretch. She came into the week with an ERA of 0.95, and lowered that to a miniscule 0.91 after only allowing three earned runs in 23 innings pitched this week.
At the plate, Gallucci hit her third home run of the season, tying her for third in the conference. She also went 2-for-4 on two singles, with a RBI and a walk against No. 24 University of Alabama-Huntsville Saturday.
The Bobcat softball team will be back in action this Thursday, Feb. 26 as they host Fort Valley State University at 4 p.m. for a home game at the Peeler Complex.
