Ga. – Freshman Abi
LeRoy (Dublin, Ga.) of the GC softball team was
awarded the Bobcat Athlete of the Week after her six games this
LeRoy went 12-for-22 (.545) this past weekend with two triples, scoring seven runs and knocked in five.
The freshman’s best performance was against Eckerd College when she went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs, and a pair of RBI.
LeRoy’s pitching performance was impressive as well, spending 18 2/3 innngs in the circle for the Bobcats while allowing just seven runs (2.64 ERA) and striking out 12 batters.
Bobcat softball will return to the diamond against No. 14 Flagler College, for a doubleheader, Sunday, Feb. 17. at 12:00 p.m.
