MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball program has added six more games to the 2011-12 schedule by participating in the Eckerd College Spring Invitational Feb. 10-12.
Georgia College will open up with Nova Southeastern State University Friday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m., followed by a matchup with the host team Eckerd at 7:30 p.m. The Bobcats will play two Saturday against the University of Tampa and Florida Tech at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Bobcats will finish out the tournament Sunday morning against Barry University at 9 a.m. and then Saint Leo University at 11:30 a.m.
Tournament Champion will be decided by the following categories (in order): win/loss record, head-to-head competition, fewest runs allowed, runs scored and if all else fails, a coin flip
Softball hosts their season-opening tournament, the Bobcat Bash, starting with a doubleheader against Queens College Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m.
