COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Georgia College softball team (25-23, 9-11 PBC) garnered the No.7 seed in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament as released by the conference Thursday night.
The Bobcats will face-off against North Georgia (43-7, 17-3 PBC) Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in Columbus, Ga.
This year marks the 18th time the Bobcats have made the PBC tournament. Last year, GC surprised the field, upsetting Columbus State in the first round 3-1. GC has won one PBC tournament championship and that came in 2008.
