MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball team and head coach Jamie Madewell-Grodecki recently spent time volunteering to ring the Salvation Army bell this holiday season, helping the organization collect donations.
Members of the 2010 team spent Nov. 29 and 30 located outside the Walmart on North Columbia Street in Milledgeville.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to raise money to help those whom are less fortunate during the holiday season,” said Madewell-Grodecki. “This time of year is about sharing and giving, and hopefully this small effort will make a difference for those who really need it.”
