MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball team was forced to cancel a proposed doubleheader Sunday at the Peeler Complex due to weather.
The Bobcats were set to take on Anderson University (S.C.), following the cancellation of the Georgia Southwestern Tournament.
GC did all they could to get the field ready for Sunday’s matchup, but the weather was just too uncooperative.
The ‘Cats will now turn their attention to a busy upcoming weekend that sees them play six games in three days.
The Bobcats will travel to play a two-game set at Queens University (N.C.) on Friday, Feb. 11 starting at 2 p.m., followed by a doubleheader at Catawba College, Saturday, Feb. 12 beginning at noon.
Georgia College will wrap up their road trip at the University of West Georgia for a doubleheader Monday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
