MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Due to the high probability of precipitation in the southeast region over the next couple of days, the start of the Georgia College softball season will have to wait one more day.

The Bobcats, who are set to compete in the Georgia Southwestern Tournament, will be forced to move their regularly scheduled games Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb.5 back one day each.

The new schedule will see GC take on Brewton Parker College at noon Saturday, followed by Valdosta State University at 2 p.m.

On Sunday, the ‘Cats will square-off against Anderson University (S.C.) at 10 a.m., as well as conference foe and tournament host Georgia Southwestern State University in a non-conference game set for noon.

The Bobcats originally scheduled game against Albany State University will be cancelled due to time constraints.
